Team Soundwave is delighted to bring you this exciting news – particularly for all you Android lovers out there. Just announced at Google I/O (Google’s biggest event of the year) is Android Wear ™ – the brand new watch from Google that promises to be your key to a multiscreen world.  Soundwave is delighted to announce that we have developed our Android app that is ready for use on Android Wearables.

The Soundwave watch app allows you to bring your active, music and social life together whilst on the go. Android Wear is a powerful watch that moves with you and is worn on the body. If you’re out on a run, a jog, a walk or even a cycle you can easily share with your Soundwave and Twitter community the music that is keeping you moving by a simple swipe of the watch screen.

Soundwave is delighted to be a part of this revolutionary new watch at this early stage and we are also very proud of the work that our Lead Android Developer, George Boyle has done to develop the Soundwave watch app. George believes that Google ‘is working closely with external developers to bring Android users the very best, user friendly products.’

To use Soundwave on your Android Wear users must simply update to the latest version of Soundwave in the play store on your phone when the version is released. The benefits of the Soundwave watch app include; sharing tunes to Twitter with one simple swipe, using the watch to view notifications and the option to follow users back using your watch.

The very best of luck to our friends in Google with the launch of Android Wear.

Until next time,

Team Soundwave
